“Is any thing too hard for the Lord?” — Genesis 18:14
“What feels impossible to man is often the very place where God begins His greatest work.” — Alma Ohene-Opare
Commentary:
There comes a moment in every life when circumstances stretch beyond our ability to fix, reason, or endure. We encounter limits in strength, resources, and understanding. These moments are not accidents. They reveal a boundary where human effort ends and divine power invites trust. The question is not whether the challenge is too great, but whether our faith is too small to remember who God is.
Consider a farmer staring at dry soil. No amount of effort can force the rain to fall, yet he still prepares the ground in faith. In the same way, we are called to act within our stewardship while trusting God for what lies beyond it. Freedom is not the absence of difficulty but the ability to choose faith in the face of it. When we believe that God is limited by our circumstances, we unknowingly shrink our perspective of His nature.
God’s power is not restrained by time, complexity, or opposition. What appears delayed is often being developed. What seems denied may be redirected. Faith does not ignore reality; it places reality in the hands of a sovereign Creator. When we align our will with His, we begin to see that no situation is beyond redemption, no heart beyond healing, and no path beyond restoration. This trust reflects a Christlike life, anchored in obedience and confident in divine purpose.
