“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.” — Hebrews 11:27
“True leadership begins when we act before we fully understand.” — Alma Ohene-Opare
Commentary:
Moses did not feel ready to lead. He questioned his ability, his voice, and his worth. Yet God did not wait for Moses to feel confident. He called him to move. Leadership is rarely about certainty. It is about obedience. The path becomes clear as we walk it, not before.
In many areas of life, we hesitate because we want guarantees. We want to see the outcome before we begin. But faith requires trust in the unseen. Like stepping into a dark room and finding the light switch after entering, progress comes through action. Courage grows with movement.
Christ called His disciples in the same way. “Follow me” came before full understanding. Their willingness to step forward changed history.
Scripture:
“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.” — Hebrews 11:27
Daily Application:
Take one step toward a responsibility you have been avoiding, even if the full path is unclear.
